REFLECTED CYCLISTS

from £850.00
Size:

I photographed Reflected Cyclists during a World Championship road race in extremely wet conditions. The rain was relentless and I ended up completely soaked, but the water on the road suddenly gave me a different way of photographing the race.

I began watching the cyclists’ reflections as they passed, and particularly liked how the two riders became almost silhouetted in the water. It turned a fast moving sporting event into something much more graphic and abstract.

It was one of those occasions when difficult weather actually created the photograph. I was very pleased with the result, and the image has since received photographic recognition.
