I made Puff in Fuerteventura. I first noticed the single white cloud hanging in the blue sky, then saw a small sailing boat moving along the horizon. As soon as I saw the two, I knew there could be a great photograph if I waited for them to come together.
I watched the boat slowly make its way across the sea and waited until it reached the position I wanted beneath the cloud before taking the photograph.
What I like about Puff is how little there is in the frame. Just the boat, the cloud, the blue sea and all that open space. It was really a matter of seeing the possibility and having the patience to wait for everything to fall into place.
