What caught my attention was the way their dark silhouettes sat against the warm colour spreading across the sky and sea. I stayed with the scene as the light changed, waiting until the figures, water and sunset came together in a way that felt right.
I’ve spent enough time around the sea to know that some of the most memorable moments happen between the waves rather than on them. It was that sense of waiting, stillness and anticipation that interested me here.
